If you don’t know about it already then keep reading, if you do, learn more……. ANPQuarterly is an arts magazine published by RVCA that focuses on a broader sense of art and community. The idea behind this endeavor is to make a magazine that will educate and inform openly and without the social or financial restrictions that plague many publications today. Our goal is not to focus on current events or “who’s hot” but rather to bring forward people and phenomena that deserve acknowledgment and coverage regardless of their place in time.

Here is a look at this years most creative Munny doll at LIFT’s annual summer Munny Contest. The Munny on top was done by Monster Decay and won most creative Munny. The Munnies on the botton, done by FAS, are my favorites. Monster Decay’s Munny stands at about 30″! FAS’s Munny dolls represent a good use of bright acrylics and splatter techniques. Overall the show was a good success. Many Munnies were sold and there were some artists representing from all over. For more details visit Munny Detroit.

Together they have taken skate lifestyle to a new level of beauty with this mid-century modern funiture collection. Each design incorporates skate decks and each piece is ever so polished.
Banksy has been eluding cameras and fans for years. So, how all of a sudden his ghostly figure gets caught by a camera phone? Supposedly the man crouched down in the “Banksy Unmasked” photo is the the real Bansky. I just don’t buy it. Banksy is better then that and this is probably just a publicity stunt trying to throw off the British government even more. Well in any case the picture was caught in Bethnal Green, East London. I mean seriously, this is like capturing bigfoot or the loch ness monster!! Bansky has been covering the streets with his mix of politics and humor for awhile now. I just don’t think that this is him. Would the unmasking of Banksy due damage to his anti-establishment persona or would it increase his popularity now that people can actualy give a face to their hero? I think whoever the man painting in Bethnal Green should have left his mask on…
