Nike SB is launching their most comprehensive collection to date, an all out lineup with their new apparel for Fall / Winter 2009. Featured is everything from simple pocket and v-neck tees to plaid button-downs, knits, SB socks, outerwear, and accessories to boot along with a signature Paul Rodriguez line and collaboration capsule collection with Skate Mental.
These are a major release and won’t be around very long. The red and black Nike SB legacy continues with this Red and Black Nike SB P-Rod III. The suede and leather sneaks are a quickstrike available this month at select SB skateshops. The P-Rod III’s are very popular and Nike SB is continuing to keep skaters and sneakerheads interested.
With Koston’s arrival to Nike SB, it was only a matter of time before he would put his touches on a pair of Dunk SB’s. This here is a first look at what’s to come for 2010 in Nike’s Spring line. Scheduled to drop in June of next year, the shoe features a blue upper with red accents, a silver swoosh, a slimmed-down tongue, white midsole atop of a translucent gumsole. Although there isn’t an exact drop date provided, we would presume that these are the first to many more to come from Koston at Nike SB.
Nike SB has done it again with a super tight clean collabo with NJ Skateshop to design the featured Dunk Low dubbed the Toxic Avengers. Following the theme from the 1984 cult film The Toxic Avenger: Not all monsters are scary to people. Not if it’s one fighting crime in the Garden State. Celebrating the launch of their “Off The Wall” kit, Vans and Offspring have collaborated to produce a carefully thought out limited edition of Offspring vinyl toys. Rocking some of the original colors from the 70’s, these collectible toys will be given away at Offspring stores with any Vans purchase. The reimagining of the iconic Darth Vader helmet by some of today’s most talented unerground artists, will be on display July 19-21, 2008 at Star Wars Celebration Japan. This is a landmark event being held just outside Tokyo to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Star Wars. The Vader Project originally premiered at Star Wars Celebration IV in Los Angeles in May 2007. From there it traveled to Star Wars Celebration Europe in London in June 2007. July 2007 brought 10 new helmets to the Star Wars Pavilion at the famed San Diego Comic -Con on International . The Project’s exhibit at Star Wars Celebration Japan marks the first time the collection will be on display in Asia. The helmets will be offered publicly at auction. For more information visit here.
Take a peek at the Nike SB P-Rod II’s designed Hiroshi Fujiwara. This is a sample so don’t go asking shops if they have them. The Hiroshi designed P-Rod II’s features rainbow colors on heel and in logo on the tongue. The tongue also adorns Hiroshi’s signature. Just another amazing P-Rod to add to the collection.
